The 2012 HSCC Kick-Off session is Saturday, January 28th, 2012 at GalleryPlace/Chinatown, Washington, D.C. Parents and students will join us from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. The welcome address will be given by Darlene Brown, a motivational speaker.

Training sessions begin for the 2012 High School Computer Competition (HSCC) season. Area students are trained by BDPA Members, IT Managers and corporate Software Developers for Regional and national HSCC events.  One of the Chapter's 2012 Corporate Sponsors, District of Columbia Courts, also is providing training facilities and volunteer staff.

Rescheduled from January 21st, this event will kick-off on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at 9:00 am with networking and welcome breakfast reception. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with local IT Executives from area corporations and agencies.

Black Family Technology Awareness Week | 2012 Events


"Visioning the Future: From Foresight to Insight to Action!" is the theme for the 2012 ITSMF/HITEC First Quarter Symposium to be held at the Gaylord National Resort. The symposium includes 2½ days of in-depth discussions and small-group forums led by renowned industry leaders. Many of the Nation's leading IT executives and top government officials will be in attendance.

The event will kick-off on Thursday with an exclusive networking/welcome reception. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with IT Executives from many of the country's most successful companies.
